學校環境復雜，有很多有害生物棲息和繁衍的地方，例如下水系統容易孳生蚊蟲，垃圾桶、公共廁所容易孳生蒼蠅，食堂容易棲息鼠害蟑螂等。但擺在面前的一個難題是我們不得不關注學校的安全問題，因此，在學校的有害生物控制上，應該遵循源頭控制的原則，更多的需要在日常工作中采用預防的原則，盡量少用或者不使用化學藥劑。
